The Johnson project in Destin converted a former garage into a room with six queen beds. Two guests per mattress account for twelve of the home’s advertised sleeping places. Broad staircases give the room several points of access.
Plan for sitting, climbing and changing linens
Review mattress thickness and seated headroom together. Keep reading lights within reach, leave a route around the lower bunks and check the landing where guests turn toward an upper mattress. Ask about the intended users and the requirements of the specific build before choosing a configuration.
